Will truly loved the sport of swim, and we think that with his knowledge and love for the sport he could have been an excellent coach once his competition days were over.  It's one of the many things he never had the opportunity to do.

The Will M. Ensley Memorial Scholarship Foundation was established in 2023 to provide annual post-secondary education scholarships to deserving graduating seniors from the Shawnee Mission Northwest High School swim programs, and from the Empire KC Swim Club.  The foundation also supports the Shawnee Mission Northwest swim teams with apparel and equipment needs. Our hope is that through the foundation’s charitable gifts Will’s light will continue to shine brightly in this world.
